Mouthing and biting are usual problems with all rottweilers. And it is necessary to control this mouthing practice of your rotweiler at an early age.
Mouthing can become a way for rottweiler puppies to try to control you, permitting them to take that first step towards assuming a leadership role inside your house. Here are some steps that might help you to train and control your puppy.
Just like babies, a rottwieler goes through the teething process. It is a common habit of puppies of all breeds to use their mouth to look into the things around.
Provide your rottweiller some chew toys with different textures to help fulfill their chewing requirements properly with puppy training. It is suggested to use larger rawhide items and natural bones for your pups to satisfy their chewing needs.
When your puppy gets overly noisy and starts nipping and chewing on you, you must handle the situation like his mother. You must let out a noise that lets him recognize it hurt and he will definitely leave you.
One of the best method to be friendly with your puppy is by giving back of your hand so that she can lick, by this method she gets habituated with you and realizes that you are the caretaker.
Appreciate him if his response is immediate and provide him a suitable chew toy. Do not give a toy when your hand is still in his mouth, or you will be rewarding the wrong habit. You can also train him to act on your commands.
If your puppy dont hear what you say, or is getting more and more cruel with people and also with you, its serious then. And he will go on doing the same until you teach him not to.
